One of our students from our online courses asked a question about her cat (who has had ongoing health challenges).  The cat wants to be near her while she is doing ceremonies.

Q.  I have a question about what happens if a pet enters the circle while doing a ceremony… one of my kitties has become a real fan of the ceremonies and always wants to be near while I’m doing them. A couple of times she’s actually come into the circle with me after I’d already started the ceremony. Is that something that would be harmful to her? And I was also concerned about how that would effect the outcome of the ceremony. Has any one else mentioned this sort of thing happening?

A.  At all costs, our pets should be kept out of our ceremonies and ceremonial sacred spaces.  The frequency is too strong for them and their frequency also affects the alchemical equation that we are creating with our ceremony.  A personal sound elixir may be helpful for your cat.
