Best Friends

Monday, August 2nd, 2010

Thank you, Jeff for sharing this poem with us during Ohio class with Almine.

I have the best friend that anyone could.

Tammy lives next door you see,

and loves to come explore with Me.

Our daily adventure through the neighborhood.

She’s always first to rise,

and sits patiently waiting outside

knowing faithfully I will come.

It’s an endless surprise, to meet her brown eyes,

anticipating a day of fun.

First a ritual to begin our date,

even though we’re running late.

I test my plastic telescope, then stash it in my pocket.

Tammy just does her silly Wiggle Dance Mockit.

now We’re ready for what awaits

We dash and race to quicken the pace

She can run faster than Me,

but I can climb higher than She.

We comb the grass and scratch our backs, while rolling on the ground.

We sniff blossoms and leaves, and dirty our knees

and play catch with balls We’ve found.

I share my p.b. & jelly

I rest my head on her belly.

We take turns to see who has a bigger sigh

We like to watch the cotton races,

finding funny forming fluffy faces sailing softly through the spying sky.

I follow Her, then She follows Me.

Sometimes We hide and seek.

It’s fun to share the day together,

even in weathers bleak.

Soon the sun will be taken.

The street lights have already wakened.

I can hear my Mom bellow my name.

No more time to roam.

Time to make our way home.

Tomorrow We’ll meet again to finish our venture game.

Well, tomorrow came, and it’s here right now,

but this morning Tammy is nowhere to be found.

…I carried the day alone.

more days pass, still no Tammy.

…again, I explore alone.

Then one day, gazing out the window, playing in a memory,

I finally ask my Mom, whose eyes are on my shoulder, if She knows where Tammy could be.

“She moved to a beautiful farm, far, far away” She said.

I see Her frolicking near a barn, in the bubble above my head.

Unknown to Me, another white lie.

My Mom couldn’t tell me Tammy had died.

I’ll miss my best friend.

I’ll miss her wet kisses.

I’ll miss those brown eyes that shined.

I’ll miss that silly wiggle dance, her tail fanning behind.

What I’ll think I’ll miss most is hugging her big furry body.

Big furry friends might be hard to find.

Timelessness

What was excellent in the past is mediocre in the present.

The harmonies of the beginning of the symphony become discordant when played in another part of the melody.

Eternal Rejuvenation

“Youth is not the desired outcome, but rather eternal rejuvenation.  Youth and age are opposite poles – just as illusional as life and death.”

Timelessness ~

Wednesday, April 7th, 2010

The portal into eternity lies in the moment. Higher levels of consciousness demand that we live in the moment, that place of power called timelessness. In fact, living in timelessness is a mindset or perspective that results from a specific placement of the assemblage point.

When peak spiritual experiences kick us into God consciousness, linear time can pull us back out. The solution is to have at least three 20 minute periods a day of going into timelessness until this becomes a way of life and the assemblage point is fixed.

The goal is to enter into a full awareness of the moment. Resist the temptation of entering into meditation or falling asleep – That brings about an entirely different placement of the assemblage point. (However, if you stay in timelessness for a whole day, periods of sleep are permissible.)

How to:

Start by deepening your breaths and clearing thoughts from the mind. When thoughts do arise, don’t engage them. Just observe them rising and falling like waves upon the ocean.

Blow stress out of tense areas but resist the temptation to go into a meditative state.

Gradually, as stress leaves the body, the stomach or chest will still feel tense without going into meditation. This stress is linear time. Imagine it as talons or claws gripping your body, and deliberately undo each talon through visualization, breathing any residue of tension out until it is released.

The change in the assemblage point as you now simply sit and observe your environment as a child would do, is felt as bliss trickling through the cells or the crown of the head opening.

Avoid clocks, noise, public places, phones, TV and even music. Use a timer to end the session if you have to get back to work.

Note: When doing it for the whole day, sleep when you feel like sleeping, eat when you feel like eating, and in natural light as much as it is possible. Plan to  do your grocery shopping ahead of time if wish to continue for a while with this experiencee, so that you don’t have to drive or go to public places.
