Infinite Surrender

Friday, April 2nd, 2010

Q. I feel a slight underlying anxiety when I listen to the new Hidden Planets sound elixirs. Why would this be?

Almine’s response:

Dearest one, the sound elixirs force one to a threshold and a threshold is never comfortable. If we hold on to the old when confronted with the challenge of the cosmos to let go, it produces the effect you are describing. I know it well; I go through these several times a month. Sometimes the resistance to letting go of mind, which for instance the sound elixirs are designed to promote, is nebulous and indescribable – they are after all not visible thresholds. It is then often the case that the person being challenged to let go of the mind fixates his resistance on to a specific area of his daily encounters.

For instance, one of my students who is a truck driver, is afraid to let go of his alcoholism and to confront his highly developed clairvoyance. He has suddenly become so afraid of bridges (he doesn’t want to cross the bridge in his own life) that he can no longer drive his truck. At some point we simply have to let go and surrender to the deep trust that this is a safe existence animated by perfection.

Voice of the Infinite

Saturday, February 27th, 2010

This entry is dedicated to Matt and his wife, Linda with love from Almine.

Q. What is the value of wisdom, when the more I seek it, the less I know?

A. The worth of wisdom is that the seeker discovers that around in a circle he goes.  The greatest gift that wisdom can give is its own illusions to show.

Q. What lies beyond wisdom that I can seek and ultimately hope to find?

A. The ending of wisdom is the beginning of the contradiction of life.

Q. I hear it shine through wisdom’s words, yet no description of the One Life have I heard.

A. That which is real cannot be described for it lies beyond understanding’s confines.

Q. Then how shall I know the Infinite’s voice?

A. The song of the Infinite is all there is; to interpret it, you have no choice.  Thus seek not to understand for no creation can, the glorious paradox of life.  Cease to strive but dance to the song of eternal life with delight.

Mind Experiences

Q. I have also wondered why Almine at times receives assignments from the Infinite for herself and for us and then does hers outside of the class instead of with us?

A. Almine:  It is the case in classes that students come to eliminate mind; it literally feels like one is losing one’s mind.  To receive the information, I become like an open door which pushes the class very fast.  It is my way of pacing a class if it becomes necessary.  I can see when students start to ‘spin out of control’ – then I interact more sparingly.  It depends on the depth of the information, the intensity of receiving it and what physical changes they undergo by proxy as they become cosmic pivot points for change.

Rogier: Almine is like a portal into eternity.  Few can look into eternity for long without going into some form of madness.  If we who work with her are around her too much, our minds ‘bend’ and we can’t function.  It affects all of us in different ways but it feels like a runaway roller coaster – one hangs on for all you’re worth because you lose all control.

Paul: Almine’s like a vortex – people spin out around her, becoming irrational and out of control.  Minds bend in the presence of a great light.  I use a large obsidian sphere to help center me when I record her voice.
