I was the fortunate recipient of a personal power sigil from one of my precious Lightfamily members. With deep gratitude for such a thoughtful gift, I wanted to share with my Lightfamily what personal “weeds of illusion“ I’m working on today. And will be applying my power sigil to:
I have previously said that eradicating self-pity and self-importance, is a lifelong endeavor and that if we’re honest with ourselves we will find it rearing its head on a day-by-day basis in some form or another. I have also said that self-importance springs from self-pity.
I noticed that several examples of over-inflated and unfounded self-confidence presented themselves to me in people around me; examples of self-importance which made me look for examples of self-pity or self-importance in my own life. Self-importance brings unpleasant lessons to teach us humility; to help us remember that any achievements we may think we may have achieved, are but a dance with the mirrors of our environment.
I want to share the meaning of the words on my personal power sigil with you. They aided me greatly in finding the “weeds “ of self-importance in my perception.
The meaning of the words:
“ …the majesty of your vast presence as a consciousness superimposed over all that is, having a human experience, cannot be overestimated and should be kept in mind throughout your sojourn here amongst men. Remove now all personal identities you’ve either given yourself or have been given by others from your mirrored environment. Remove any comparisons you make of yourself vis a vis others in your surroundings. “

This is sooooo timely for me as I am also experiencing “self importance” in my mirrored environment. Coincidentally or not, from the same person usually. It is a tough lesson to learn or teach for that matter.
