Why might someone feel disrespected, overlooked, or neglected by those close to them?
• Is this an ego reaction or something deeper?
• And what’s the best way to handle it?
The Seer:
The soul becomes aggrieved when it is treated with disdain, dismissal, or disrespect. It goes far deeper than the egoic self. The mental response to being treated unkindly or rudely is to feel insulted. The best way to handle it is explained in the book *Journey to the Heart of God in the section under Conflict Resolution. Furthermore, it is each person’s duty to protect their subpersonalities from being belittled – especially the Inner Child and the Inner Elder.
“A battle is only worth engaging in if the stakes are worth having.
It is worth entering into conflict if there is a lesson to be learned.” ~The Seer
