Q: The flawed perceptions from the inner-child, do they also show up in children as negative tendencies?
A: Yes, the “power over” concept creates the pecking order of children that produces bullying. The perception that children are our destiny produces the egocentricity and sense of entitlement in children. The need for relationship produces cliques and gangs and identifying peer groups. The tribe is where relationship is at its most binding.
Q: The three sub-personalities of the Sage, Warrior and Nurturer are kept in place by illusions. Isn’t that what is also the case for the child? Why does it seem to be different, less real?
A: It isn’t “kept in place” by illusions, it consists of illusions we have come to be sentimental about. There are degrees of realness. The inner-child is therefor less real.
Q: In closing, how does one live with relationships without perpetuating relationships?
A: By knowing all you can ever experience, is yourself. All your relationships are yourself playing hide and seek with yourself, peeping back at you from behind the illusion of separateness.
