The need for fluidity, the ability to replace one perspective with another from one moment to the next, has frequently been stressed in my classes as being a vital component of mastery. A fixed perspective traps the awareness and is the death knell of excellence. Excellence lies beyond the confines of the mediocrity of what the masses find acceptable. Stand upon the shoulders of the ordinary, spread your majestic wings of Godhood and fly where none have dared venture before.
