What is your favorite photo of all the many photos people have taken of you?

Almine:
This one*. There’s a secret in the eyes no one has uncovered. If I were to describe what the most emphasized quality is of what I express as my nature, I would have to say my most dominant trait is inquisitive wonderment. I am like a fairy peering through the long grass in puzzled wonderment at the human children at play. I have for years been fascinated by what people live like behind their windows; wondering what human life is. Everything is a new discovery to me; even the simplest little thing can amuse me for hours. I am surrounded by newness waiting to be discovered.
