For many years Almine has had a favorite verse she has quoted, we want to share it with you:
“She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. She is not afraid of the snow for her household, for all her household are clothed with scarlet.”
Proverbs 31: 19–21
We asked Almine about her philosophy of homemaking. Here is her reply:
Home is a refuge to find rest and solitude. Each room tells a story about you. It is not just a space with four walls, but a canvas to express the passions of your heart and soul. Every corner can be a place of inspiration. Not just made warm by the hallowed objects of the heart, but a space to accrue memories and express ideas; not just filled with objects, but emanating the warmth of your love.
We wish to remind you that Almine’s free holiday cookbook is available to you as a gift (click to the right) Memoirs and Meals. We hope you enjoy it!

How interesting the verse above as I had a vision in this mornings meditation of beautiful hands, white light pouring out of them toward me filling the heart with love and compassion. I was asking to visit You, my Dear Almine, as I began the meditation. Since I have not, as yet, met You in the physical, this vision was very powerful and wonderful how it relates to Your favorite verse. In deepest Love, Praise and Gratitude, Robin R
