A Poem For The Innocents

Dedicated by the Seer Almine to the holy babies that are the hope of mankind’s future.

SLEEP

Contented he lies
His innocent eyes
Looking deeply into mine

In my arms warm and safe
Sleep envelopes his baby face
He releases the day with a sigh

Like moonlight on a mountain stream
Into the place of dreams
He gently floats away

From Heaven you came
On Earth to stay
Though among the stars you play

So pure a soul
Like an alchemist’s stone
Can turn the lead of life to gold

Do you remember from whence you came
From sacred realms where compassion reigns?
Together we’ll make this world a holy home

Sleep now my child, secure and safe
Wrapped in the love of my embrace
Though small you may be, you   are not alone
