Dear Almine,
I would like to thank you for your gift. I realized that you are sharing with us what you have. Even when Jesus was born people have gathered from near and far, in happiness to welcome the newborn and brought the gifts. They brought what they had; shepherds brought sheep, bakers – bread, some gave a gift of gold, others frankincense, musicians played the music and so on.
When I was a small child, we used to build Bethlehem Christmas decoration. I really enjoyed looking at it. Some figurines were made out of paper, some from wood. The baby Jesus was sleeping on the hay in the little barn. Shepherds were walking up the hill with the flocks of sheep. Musicians were playing music.
Women and children carried baskets filled with food. Even though the figurines were standing still, I could always see something new in it. As if each moment unravelled something new that I did not see there before.
I asked myself today: ” what can I share ?” A magical perspective.
