Guilt creates a discordance in the interconnectedness of life. This, in turn, creates an imbalance that begets blame— like an itch that asks to be scratched. Assist those who cross your life’s path and stir within you the desire to give. But do not give with pity or out of guilt. Give with grateful recognition of the fullness of life.
