Cutting-edge Mysticism

Androgyny

This question was received on AlmineWisdom/Twitter from Devapriya, a student of the Alchemy of One online course.

Q:  “Does emphasizing the feminine side, like celebrating Women’s day, create imbalance in our androgynous nature? Does being a Goddess mean that the feminine frequencies are stronger?”

A: My beloved sister, androgyny is in fact an inner condition of perfectly balanced receptivity and proactivity.  It’s the way you see yourself so as to avoid the identity of gender. Celebrating the feminine aspects of expression is simply a joyous acknowledgment of parts of yourself. A time will come though where you don’t see yourself as having parts, nor feminine or masculine aspects. The world is simply taking its next step in equalizing the feminine prior to moving ahead in androgyny.
