Question:
Can you tell us what killed the nine hikers of the Dyatlov group in the Ural Mountains?
The Seer:
The Menk. He was observed by the hikers, watching them for a few days before he eventually attacked them in the night.
The Russian version of the Yeti — a tall (7-8ft) apelike carnivorous being that lives in the Ural Mountains. Like the Yeti in the Himalayan Mountains, he hunts humans. The Bigfoot of the American forests is a herbivore but can cause a lot of damage when he feels threatened. He is very territorial and marks his space by uprooting smaller trees and replanting them upside down.
Alex says
Right. To them it’s the equivalent of someone walking into your home and deciding that THEY live there, not you. They haven’t had the most peaceful relationship with humans. Hopefully that will heal eventually.

There’s something in the Ontario forests around the thunder bay/sue St. Marie areas, I forget which side it was on. Really horrible feeling when we stopped for a washroom break (parked into the forest a bit as theres nothing else between the major towns hours apart). Within minutes I had everyone packed back in the car to hold it until the next stop cause I felt like we were being watched with a feeling of dread. I’m not sure what the trees were like, but it’s good to know the signs of where not to be!!

Good to know.
