My gratitude to Almine for her words and to those who’ve posted here, thank you for your comments. We refer to the acreage (2) around our home as The Peaceable Kingdom where all are welcome and thrive in harmony.
The owl is meant to deter birds from flying into the glass pane in front of it. However, he seems not to be doing so. The hummingbird (one of manyl) still do it and also jump up and down on the owl’s head which is on a spring (bobble head!) – and also just rest there. I love the juxtaposition of the two and welcoming all the birds at our feeders and bird baths. 💖
