It is disrespectful to seek only that which is praiseworthy in others; to indulge their hidden undeveloped areas by turning a blind eye to them. It is indicative of evolved love; of mature compassion, to embrace both the strong suits and the foibles of one another; to embrace all parts of each other with compassionate understanding and with the knowledge that it is from the flaws of one’s personality, that our unique gifts and talent are born.
