We ask The Seer for some practical advice about the Coronavirus crisis.
QUESTION:
What household disinfectant do you use?
ANSWER:
I have a good quality thyme oil and I put ten drops in a pint of water which I place in a spray bottle. This works very well (under shoes, in the air and on all surfaces).
Thyme oil:
Thymol, a component of the botanical thyme oil, when used as a disinfectant active ingredient in Seventh Generation disinfection products, kills 99. 99% of household germs. Thyme is thought to have antibacterial, insecticidal, and possibly antifungal properties. People used thyme throughout history for embalming and to protect from the Black Death. Forms of thyme include fresh and dried herbs and essential oil.

I just used up my bottle of Seventh Generation and will be preparing my own solution with thyme essential oil. After Almine first mentioned thyme, I picked some up at the Amish store. Great tip, because you can’t find 7th Gen anywhere now.
