You may be aware that a total lunar eclipse will occur today. This type of eclipse may be referred to as a Blood Moon. We posted about Blood Moons on the Diary April 13, 2014 (a second total eclipse was October 8, 2014 and the next two will be on April 4, 2015 and September 28, 2015).
What Causes a Blood Moon? When the Earth casts its shadow on a full moon and eclipses it, the moon may appear to have a red glow. The scattering of sunlight through the Earth’s atmosphere, the same effect that causes sunsets to appear red, creates the red color. Historically, the Blood Moon has been associated with times of war and is even linked to ‘the end times’ as spoken of in the Bible in Acts and Revelation.
Our post of 2014 includes a recording of Almine speaking about Blood Moon and the Threat of War. She also created a ceremony called Prayers of Peace. Click on the links below to visit the ceremony post on Ascension. net. You might wish to do the ceremony again today, or any time you wish to create the blessings of peace.

- Note: Almine clarified that the papers with your prayers of peace go into the fire, but if one does not have a fire, they are to be placed on top of the 7th wheel. (The prayers may be burned afterwards).

Dear Lynette,
We appreciate your question and there are probably many in the same situation. You could possibly do the ceremony outdoors (I know of some who did that in a group last year). Or you could have a ‘virtual’ fire – just intend that you have a fire by using a candle. Possibly you could burn your prayers in a small pan at the end of the ceremony – or follow the directions of Almine in the original post above:
“Note: Almine clarified that the papers with your prayers of peace go into the fire, but if one does not have a fire, they are to be placed on top of the 7th wheel. (The prayers may be burned afterwards).”

I live in a condo w/out a fireplace. Is there another compatible ceremony to perform today for those without a safe place to burn the wheels? Thank you!
Dhani says
Lynette,
I have burned papers, tear up into small pieces, in a skillet, in the oven. This provides a closed environment for the burning. I started the fire in the pan, then placed it in the oven (the oven is OFF).
Hope this helps.

Oh great idea! I couldn’t think of a safe space to burn – thank you! I did not do the ceremony – but the day did bring up areas where I am not at peace within and am lovingly aknowledging and working within to bring peace to those areas. I love that Easter followed so closely with the Blood Moon. Love praise and gratitude for all I have learned from my Almine light family.
