A good idea for an orderly and communicative family life ~
An example from the Seer’s family life: The Seer writes a family memo several times a week, to make sure there is a flow of communication and a sense of cohesion in her family. We asked her to give us an example.
Family Memo: Christmas report: Because every day is like Christmas living in our home, there aren’t any huge or expensive presents under the tree, but little things I hope that will make you happy. Please plan on having a sit-down, big Christmas Day dinner at home (say 2 pm?). The presents will be opened the night before. I’m also planning a family celebration for New Years Day. But we’ll schedule times around emergency calls from work and other work requirements. I know that in both Ronni’s and Jaylene’s case, your work relies heavily on your assistance. Your family supports and loves you. Allow yourself to be happy this Christmas about all that was good about this past year.

For me, living alone and far from my family members, there is no planning, only following the inspiration of the moment. I try to give myself small gifts, and send some to my grandchildren, to compensate for the missing personal interactions.
For Advent I read to us most evenings from Tolkien’s’Father Christmas Letters’ 🎄
I always give us each a book, wrapped in pretty paper. If I’ve found more than two we get the extra one(s) for New Year’s.

With twelve of our family members currently living in our home, we have family meetings and our refrigerator is used as a posting board. Almine’s Christmas report warms my heart.
