Question from Jodie:
I have a question about the 4th new emotion*, which says:
The desire to surrender to the magnetic attraction of higher truth = guidance through attachment of a self-sovereign heart.
Is the word ‘attachment’ the correct word in the second phrase of that sentence, or if it is intended to be ‘attraction’ in keeping with the first phrase of the sentence?
The Seer:
It’s the correct word because of zen and Buddhist belief systems infiltrating western thought, attachment (a strong desire to maintain the status quo) is viewed as weakness or dysfunctional disempowerment. But the 4th teaching is saying that if we have a self-sovereign heart; one that has ceased to need, then attachment serves as a guiding mechanism. It indicates that what we are attached to has valuable lessons and gifts of perception for us.

That makes sense.
I thought it might mean that the self-sovereign heart would be ‘attached’ to the (outer) manifestations of the truths of our Greater Self; rather than to untruths (illusions). But this isn’t what Almine has clarified for us.
There is self-responsability in the equation. And a continuing personal sort of ‘enlightenment’ that doesn’t allow us to ‘arrive’.
