In Awakening from the Dream, The Seer Almine explains the method of using the Ninth Runedeck, in conjunction with the new Timemap, to communicate from the Greater Self to the Constricted Self. The Runedeck is a linguistic bridge through which the Greater Self guides you to the right Rune, conveying how the karma in question formed, and in which macrocosmic stage.
