Question:
You have said that the dream symbol of a snake means wisdom. But what is the meaning of a dream symbol of a snake strike or snake bite’s poison, or a snake acting in a hostile way?
The Seer:
To answer you, let’s revise the significance of co-dependency in relationship:
The reason we have emphasized it so much during years of teaching is that more than nine out of ten people have relationships based on co-dependency.
Virtually all interactions with others are based on co-dependency and like a snake bite, one never knows when a co-dependent’s hostile strike is going to happen — it catches one unaware because it seems to come out of nowhere.
Reminder: The co-dependent triangular pattern of conduct makes an explosive ending to a relationship an inevitability.
1. During the first of the three legs of the triangle, there is an abundance of favors and adoration given.
2. During leg two of the triangle, the co-dependent’s premise of “because I give so much, I get to control you” or in other words, “you are expected to live up to my expectations to pay me back for everything I’ve done for you by letting me control you.”
3. During leg three, the dramatic breakup occurs. Because if one doesn’t allow the co-dependent person to control one, they explode with an attitude of “how could you use and abuse me like that during our relationship.” It doesn’t matter how much one gives back in the relationship, it isn’t appreciated, because it isn’t the kind of control or bondage the co-dependent was trying to establish.
This pattern repeats itself over and over in a co-dependent’s life making them more and more cynical about relationships in general.
The snake bite in dream symbols means that you are about to get bitten by the anger and spite of a co-dependent person’s leg three of their relationship with you.

Wow. This is my brother and all of his relationships through out the years. Very sad and I pray he heals himself of this dysfunction.
