When you obsess about the questions, it spans the energy and obscures the answers. When you obsess about a desire, it depletes the energy necessary for its manifestation and makes the fulfillment of your desire less likely to happen. Through obsessing about a desire, the desire becomes a need and the person loses his or her integrity.

Lovely to hear this right now. I know this is spirituality 101 and I’m sure Almine has discussed it a few times, but I’d love to hear an elaboration on what instead the right approach would be – in Almine’s words. As to this day it’s still weird to me that in order to manifest one shouldn’t care so much about what one quite possibly cares deeply about at that time.

There’s an answer – I’ll find it now and post it here.

From the hardcover book, ‘Coming Home to Yourself’ by Almine (you can find it in the store):
“In a futile attempt to control the future by planning for it, humanity forsakes the moment in favour of trying to dictate the outcome of things to come. The sage moves through life like a child playing in a garden of delights. The sage effortlessly sees “future” potential as though it’s an inevitable event that already exists. A minimum amount of effort is put into planning the articulation of potential, just a delightful vision that is held. This allows the components needed to make it happen, to effortlessly present themselves. The sage remains fully immersed in the moment, when the future is delivered to him or her in effortless increments.”

Yep, know this one! The irony is that it takes one back onto the disc and out of Our centre. But – how do we stop the incessant desire – it becomes a war within…
Interesting the timing for this coming up now. Have we explored the root of obsession? I’d love to revisit this if we have..??

What does “spans the energy” in the first sentence, mean? Or is it a typo? Thank you for this post.
