In a futile attempt to control the future by planning for it, humanity forsakes the moment in favor of trying to dictate the outcome of things to come. The sage moves through life like a child playing in a garden of delights. The sage effortlessly sees “future” potential as though it’s an inevitable event that already exists. A minimum amount of effort is put into planning the articulation of potential, just a delightful vision that is held. This allows the components needed to make it happen, to effortlessly present themselves. The sage remains fully immersed in the moment, while the future is delivered to him or her in effortless increments.
