Pyrite crystals are sometimes called “Fool’s Gold”. Pyrite crystals can self-ignite under the right circumstances. Mystics know this mineral as the “Stone with the Fire in Its Heart”. “Pyrite Fire” can refer to a phenomenon where sparks are created by striking the mineral pyrite to start a fire, but the unquenchable fire ignited by pyrite is the desire to live and grow (the evolution impetus) that it awakens in every living being. It is called the “Mother of Gemstones” because it stimulates other gemstones to evolve from being in a potential form (an etheric blueprint form only) into a physical manifestation. It ignites the exhilaration of being in physical form.
