I consulted with Almine about this question, see her reply below. In the beauty of synchronicity, we were just getting ready to begin Aranash Suba Yoga, the Yoga of Enlightenment, which releases trauma, especially from the psoas muscle. It’s pretty easy to consider trauma held in our bodies as a ‘ghost’ or impression from a previous injury or situation.
Question: I have a pain that runs from mid-back, down my side and onto my leg and thigh. What could be causing this and what recommendations do you have to ease this pain?
Almine’s Answer: The psoas muscle is the cause of the pain. The treatment is to do Aranash Suba yoga to release the psoas muscle.
