A question right from the bottom of my heart: Would it be possible to make it more interactive with Almine herself? Hi Isabella, http://www.lightworker.co is the place for questions for Almine. The questions asked there get forwarded to Almine, though it may take some time for them be answered. Probably the new community will interface with this web site somehow…

I hardly ever go to Ascension Net anymore. Because it is public. I prefer Almine’s facebook group, but I find the FB algorhythms a real limittion. What is good in the Ascension Net web format is that nothing is ‘lost’ and we can follow discussions and chose to be notified by email when new comments are posted. And we can post private messages without subscribning to a messenger ‘service’ like on FB. I trust that the new site will integrate the good points while maintaining privacy.
Barbara, the thing with social networks is that they tend to be all public or all private. We opted for the former since otherwise no new people would ever find this work via the social network. The thinking was that if privacy is a concern, it can be addressed by using a nickname, or going on first name only. (Since, unlike Facebook, there is no ‘real name’ requirement.)

I understand the need to consolidate/reduce websites, especially since Spiritual Journeys has fewer staff now, who seem very busy with current work.
However, I will especially miss Almine.tv since I listen to her music there daily 🙁 I wonder if it will become available on a go-forward site?
