Cutting-edge Mysticism

Strife and Inertia

Recently we shared this little snippet on one of Almine’s international Facebook pages:

There is no point of departure or arrival. No need to rush or strive when life is viewed from an eternal perspective.

We got this interesting comment by one of the visitors of the Facebook page: “Without strife, everything is inertia…”. Below you will find Almine’s response.

Almine’s insight
Inertia has a positive and a negative pole. The positive side of inertia comes when we live from polarity only: it is the requirement that continual energy needs to be provided to sustain the status quo. The negative side of inertia comes when we dwell in expansion only and stagnate in inactivity. The preferred state uses contraction and expansion as tools of perspective, while dwelling in endlessness.
