Happiness is a collection of both ‘passive and active components’, with the active parts being individual moments or experiences; the high points. The passive part is the cultivated sense of happiness, a sense that is always there from within, no matter the outer circumstances, be they high points or low points. Teaching your children the Art of Happiness is one of the greatest gifts you can give them.
