Compassionate understanding does not mean that it’s enlightened to linger and befriend those of lower consciousness. Degenerate company results in lowering our own consciousness and should be avoided.
The most compassionate gift we can give the misguided ones is to observe their folly and learn from it so that they no longer need to walk the treadmill of base conduct and lack of perception.
