I have the physical book, if someone has the e-book it would be helpful if they could copy and paste pages 136-142 and send it to niels@almine.net to reproduce on the diary.

Hi Maria, I know what you are saying but I am wondering if his responses were more a matter of being a little bit (okay, more than a little bit) overwhelmed by the information Almine was sharing. When he said during the introduction that he was not familiar with her work I thought to myself…”oh, this should be interesting.” I think he was just way in over his head. I’m sure he is used to “leading” the guests he has on his show…to keep them moving along and you notice there were many times he didn’t seem to know what to say to the things she was sharing. He would make the attempt to clarify her words and a couple times he did really well and Almine acknowledged it. But more often the responses were…Hmmm, wow, okay. From my perception I think his mind was trying to get a grasp on the profound information Almine was sharing and that is a difficult proposition at best. The mind can’t make sense of it. I found myself chuckling when I realized that I often make the same sounds and say the same things when I listen to some of Almine’s teachings…”wow, hmmm,really? amazing!” I’m just thankful I get to do it from the “safety” and privacy of my home and…that I’m not being audio-taped when I do it! Blessings Maria 🙂
I don’t think he is. I think he is just highly empathetic and has a high level of back-channeling as part of his language style.
The Conscious Consultant has a great radio voice, but it the mmm’s are invasive, not sympathetic, in effect. I feel he gets Almine pretty much as Nadine says. I am grateful that he gave Almine a platform to speak, so am checking out the other shows. :o)
