How to deal with temperature extremes the Shamanic way:
– Let the cold or heat move through you and don’t resist or fight it. When you oppose it, it can detrimentally affect your health.
– Use hot drinks for cold — it helps to warm your internal organs. The most crucial areas of the body to keep warm though are the head (warm wooly hats) and the feet (warm wooly socks).
– Drink hibiscus tea in the heat (it cools you down by making you perspire).
Shamanism, as it should be lived, is the embracing of the Many by the One.
