In anticipation of the upcoming Red Deer, Belgium and Moscow retreats, I ask Almine to define shamanism. Almine speaks of the restoration of the original, ancient shamanism that incorporates both masculine and feminine. And she contrasts this with our common understanding of shamanism, which is a shamanism that overpolarizes into the masculine and is therefore prone to distortion.
