Almine speaks, in fact, can only speak, such liberatory words from, to and within autopoiesis. It is when profoundly in touch with that primal dimension does she perform at her best, outshining all the ghosts and residues of the past. Honestly, I don’t think we can even begin to touch, let alone scratch, the surface of where she is going with this. Thinking we “get it” is a well-meaning pretense, at best, and self-delusional, at its worst. Let’s stop feeding the hungry ghosts of the past fasting them within the moment, i.e., don’t give them “time” to feed. You be the chef and the meal.
