This past week we gave the good people on I Am Presence a sneak peak into the last 8 Runes from the Butterfly Library. The Runes of the Butterfly Library will come out soon in the new edition of Labyrinth of the Moon, but I Am Presence already got the possibility to practice with 8 of them. Today we share one way of working with these Runes and our personal experience with practicing with it.
I’ve personally chosen to focus on the Rune called ‘Power of Speech’. Today I’ve drawn it on my hand (see image above) to be aware of my words and the power they carry. The full explanation given with this Rune is:
The Power of Speech
Be very careful what words
you choose. They may come
back to haunt you. Reality is
created thought by thought
and word by word. Be
respectful of all life through
your words and know they
contain the power
of manifestation.
I am not the most sensitive person in the world to subtle energies, but within 5 minutes of drawing this power object, my cheeks turned red, as did my ears and my heart started pounding. Also, just the idea of having this sigil on my hand, makes me think twice before commencing in idle chitchat. Putting this on my hand is also reminiscent of the story Sergey tells of Almine seeing a vision of masters of the Runes, gathering in Siberia, wearing cloaks with these Runes.
