Did You Know?
We have received inquiries about the installments of the short stories Almine has written, to accompany the fragrant oil blend Freckles… We wish to share with you the story of how it began:
From December until May of this year, Almine had no voice and was unable to laugh, cry or speak. Initially even her writing was illegible and we got her a cell phone to communicate. She was aware that her daughter Jaylene was suffering without her, and started writing her daily installments of a story about an arrogant rooster named Cockee the Barnyard Rooster. All the humor she couldn’t express elsewhere, she poured into the story and she found that even the grownups’ spirits were lifted during these very sad times.
In May, thanks to the prayers of her light family everywhere, doctors found a way to restore her voice. But Almine had learnt that no matter what age, the inner child needs to be uplifted and entertained… And the fragrance Freckles and the stories about Suzy were born.
What is their purpose?
To quote Almine: ” Life doesn’t have to have a purpose, it is for our enjoyment and aware appreciation.” And so her stories about a mischievous girl name Suzy and the fragrance she inspired, continues to delight us and bring laughter into our day…

Just as Helena, I found myself laughing for quite awhile at the story of Suzy and the salamander. Someone must of been in need of Self-regeneration……..these stories are delightful.
