By invitation, Almine’s work was chosen to represent the USA in the prestigious art book, INTERNATIONALE KUNST HEUTE 2015, which represents contemporary artists from over 54 countries. This book is published in Germany and available internationally.
Through the specific color arrangements of her work, and the depiction of the inner light of shape, Almine creates images that surpass the logical mind. Through the medium of digital art, the artist Almine, achieves translucency in her art work, focusing mostly on monochromatic compositions to achieve the intensity characteristic of her art.
Although the artist acknowledges the underlying structures in her art work, she overlays them with the fluid forms that permit the viewer to enter the realm of inner light, otherwise inaccessible to most. The purity of the essence of the shapes shine through several overlaying fields of color, enabling a profound artistic experience.
