A baby amazes and inspires feelings that we’re standing on holy ground… Why has the birth of a child universally inspired such reverence within us?
One reason is that it is potent reminder that size as a mathematical construct is meaningless within Infinite Life. As we delve deeper into the mysteries of existence, we reach a level of understanding where all exists within the one, as the one exists within the all.
That the power and majesty of the mightiest galaxy in the farflung reaches of space can exist within one so small, is instinctively felt in the presence of such purity, as yet in unpolluted by social conditioning and untainted by egoic identity. Within the new life of the little one lies a unique access to the Field of Potential waiting for articulation. It is our sacred duty to nourish and foster this greatness waiting to be expressed. It is only the most arrogant or foolish that would dare try to shape its unique expression within this new life. When we are in the presence of a newborn, we must approach with humility, for we are standing in the Halls of the Unknown and we are treading on Sacred Ground indeed.

How very delightful that this being has come into your lives! I am truly happy for all the family. Having taught (physical education) with children for 33 years I must confess I would much rather have a conversation with a child than adults. The wisdom that came from them always amazed me. On reflection, I realized they taught me so much more and I realized even more how great a gift and a blessing I was given. May the innocence of this child always be under Divine protection.
