The Seer’s Thought of the Day
Prepare for the worst and then focus on the glad expectations of expecting the best. Is it unrealistic to expect the best when bad news surrounds us? I will give the same answer as I did when I was asked that question by a Ukrainian audience prior to their war with Russia:
As long as you remember the mighty power vested in each individual to make a heaven of a hell and a hell of heaven, there is nothing to fear. Contemplate the awesome power held in the heart of an atom. How much more is held in a human heart filled with the awareness of its own power? Live this and each day to the best of your ability. Let there be peace among your loved ones by honoring their diverse responses to life unfolding. Manifest an abundant life by starting each day anew in gratitude for the blessings it brings. Make the world a better place by living life in a better way. Everyone has their own form of suffering – their own secret pain they carry through life. Ask yourself what you can do to leave this world a better place than the day before. Become a part of the solution rather than part of the problem.
I have not completely understood this one about “glad expectations “. Expecting anything “good” or “bad” invariably leads to disappointment I think. But this post has shed deeper insights. Gratitude
