Item 4 resonates with me also. My interpretation of ‘self-promotion’ is about putting your needs above others when in a leadership situation – or going for the ‘hard-sell’, which can be tempting but doesn’t see the bigger picture nor trusts in right timing. Listening to others and their needs and adapting strategy accordingly is an authentic people-centred approach as opposed to one entrenched in personal agendas, hidden or otherwise. Interesting as this message comes as I’ve just completed a significant group project and am reviewing its success with the question ‘Is anyone better off?’.

I would love more clarity on |”self promotion ” in terms of e.g. if one has a business , is this not a form of self promotion ? (without being forceful ) love Vanessa or how does one promote a flourishing business without the other re. self promotion .. I would just like to integrate this on a deeper level so all can be expressed with integrity deep gratitude
