Your Consciousness is Eternal

I am confused with the Angelgod’s message received for the July 27th Gathering (The Atlantean Ceremony):
“The privilege extended to participants will bless you through thousands of lifetimes to come. To gratefully embrace these holy events, will light the divine destiny that awaits you and illuminate your eternal journey that lies before you.”
You have taught us that we, as individual consciousness, are eternal. The body—our physical form through which consciousness is expressed—can live up to 100,000 years, progressing from 100 to 1,000 to 10,000 and then 100,000. This is our fifth time here, and we come only when needed.
What does it mean that there are thousands of lifetimes still to come? Will our bodies continue to die and reform forever? And what about the closing down of the cosmos or its quadrants—helping it die? What is the meaning of our eternal journey? Consciousness never dies, but the body does eventually lay itself down, like Grandfather.

The Seer:
It’s possibly confusing as there’s a typo in the angelic quote. (It read ‘LIGHT’, and) It should read: “To gratefully embrace these holy events, will FULFILL the divine destiny that awaits you…”. I will address your question piece by piece:

1. Yes, your consciousness is eternal but in the case of an immortal godbeing, you do come through portals/tunnels in time and enter in various roles/lifetimes as needed. Humans have individuated from the eternal substance of existence we call consciousness (so in that way, they are eternal also). Humans live many lifetimes by birthing and dying and living different roles assigned to them. 
2. So by the words “thousands of lifetimes to come”, it means playing different roles to play your part in life unfolding (done in a slightly different way by godbeings than by humans but still producing a succession of various roles).
3. As an immortal being, a godbeing does not have to die between the various roles. He or she has various options as an incorruptible being: 
   • Fluidly changing different roles in their life as inspired by inner guidance, without having to die.
   • Laying the body down in a state of stasis (during stasis, the body does not decay), forming another body until the body in stasis is resurrected.
   • There is a third way I have tried frequently: and that is to slip out of this formed universe into “the void”, taking my body with me, and returning with my body the next second in this reality. It allows me to rest for many months in the ocean of consciousness without more than a second having passed material life.
