Today, the Google home page shows an illustration of rain ☔️ pouring down on a chap in a raincoat and a tophat. It was mentioned to Almine and she asked that we post this reminder to everyone of our efforts this day to balance our water resources and heal the drought. See our original post, A Call from Almine to Heal Drought Conditions on Earth, here.
“Today (12/29) is the birthdate of Charles Macintosh, a Scottish chemist who invented waterproof fabric. The raincoat is named after him.” *

thank you for that Historical addendum, Jan – I enjoyed reading that! (re Macintosh)… we are currently experiencing heavy rain across the breadth of Australia – very unseasonal, and I managed a foray out into the ‘torrent’ in my yellow ‘mac’ yesterday and felt quite adventurous doing so! It was fun – the first time since I was a child, I think! .. now focusing on ‘more evenness’ and balance in the flow of feeling!
